As if not showing up for the BET Awards after being nominated for two awards wasn’t bad enough, Rihanna claims she did not even know it was happening. A fan asked what she thought of the awards and RiRi responded with “It’s today?”. Ouch, BET.



Rihanna was not the only one who stood up the awards show. Power couples Jay-Z/Beyonce and Kanye West/Kim Kardashian were also noticeably absent.

Rihanna was nominated for 2 BET Awards this year, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and the FANdemonium Award. She lost both to Beyonce.
