The ousted governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako, has fled the country, according to the Vanguard.
Nyako, who was impeached by the state’s house of assembly and replaced the speaker, reportedly fled the country to avoid getting arrested.
Nyako had been impeached after he was found guilty of gross misconduct and financial misappropriation.
