Police in Plateau state have defused
a bomb after they were alerted by citizens. According to reports from
Telegraph, tragedy was averted in Jos, the Plateau State capital, when
another bomb was defused by security operatives earlier today (Monday).
The improvised explosive device
(IED) was planted in front of Hamza Telephone store on Ahmadu Bello
Way. An alert citizen reportedly noticed the package and notified the
police, which sent its Bomb Disposal Unit to neutralise the device. This is coming after three deadly explosions rocked Jos in the last one week.
