Football Match Bombing: Military Makes First Arrest. Nigeria’s military on Monday said it had made an arrest in connection with the bombing of a football match that left about 40 people dead in Adamawa state.
According to the spokesperson for Defence, Chris Olukolade, a key suspect was said to have been apprehended following the terror bomb explosion that rocked Kabang community in Mubi, Adamawa at about 6:30pm on Sunday.
A bomb explosion took place yesterday in Admawa state and apparently from reports, the target was fans trying to leave the field after watching a local club match. Unfortunately it also affected women and children within the blast area.
