Nigeria security forces have arrested a suspect in connection with the bomb blast that happened this afternoon at the School of Hygiene, BUK Road in Kano at least eight people lost their lives with 12 others sustaining various degrees of injury.
Confirming the arrest, Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adenrele Shinaba said investigations will begin immediately
“The suspect is in our custody, and the vehicle he used for the operation has also been towed to the police headquarters. We will get to know the motive behind the attack, and who sent him on this deadly errand.” he said
He also confirmed 20 people were taken to the hospital after the bomb blast and 8 of them have been confirmed dead
