All Night Clubs In Sierra Leone Closed Over Ebola; State Of Emergency Declared In Liberia
The rampant spread of Ebola has prompted Liberia to declare a state of emergency.
Lawmakers in the West African country agreed on a 90-day state of emergency, with road blocks being set up to monitor travel to the country’s capital of Monrovia.
In Sierra Leone, two towns - Kailahun and Kenema – were quarantined, while all night clubs and entertainment centres were banned.
Doctors in Nigeria who were on strike, have also suspended their strike over the spread of the deadly virus.
