Biola Alabi, the Managing Director of M-Net Africa has resigned her appointment from the multinational cable/satellite content company. She since dropped her resignation letter a few days ago, and according to TheElites, this is authoritative.
Their findings reveal that Biola's resignation is mired in controversy. While some sources claim that she was forced to resign, others insist that she did so out of her own will.
Strong lady, Biola was able to distinguish herself as one of the most accomplished and powerful women in
African media, when she sat atop the multinational cable/satellite content company. She has been at the forefront of the expansion of the AfricaMagic channels brand across the continent.
Biola once made it to the 11th position of Forbes' listing of the Africa's Most Powerful Women in the Media. She was also honoured as a 2012 young global leader by World Economic Forum. She packs more punch with her naturally appealing mien and had always exemplified the young, smart and successful woman other women aspire to be.
Meanwhile, M-Net has named Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu as its first Regional Director, West Africa.
