Ladies
& Gentlemen of the Press, this media briefing is to announce our
plans to pre-launch our Audio/Visual transmission, which is also
described as Visual Radio. It simply means adding Visuals to a normal
Audio Radio broadcast from the Radio Studio. We will eventually land on
Startimes Channels 195 (Wazobia TV) and 196 (Cool TV). The pre-launch
will be on October 1, 2014 which coincides with the launch of our other
11 Radio Stations around the Country namely in Lagos, Abuja Port
Harcourt and Kano.
The brands Cool/Wazobia/Nigeria Info FM have always set the pace in Radio broadcasting in Nigeria in terms of innovative content. We plan to continue this trend with the formal and simultaneous launch of COOLTV and WAZOBIATV on Monday November 3rd, 2014 including the popular presenters of Cool, wazobia and Nigeria Info FM (Yaw, Lolo, Nedu, OPJ, Tuebi, Freeze, Mannie, Tolu etc) and the new Anchors we trained since over 12 months.
Therefore, this period of visual radio pre-launch test transmission will be October 1, 2014 on the Platform/Bouquet of Startimes, but the formal TV launch from our three (3) TV studios will be on Monday November 3, 2014 at 6.30am on 24 hour basis.
Our popular Cool FM and Nigeria Info Radio Stations will maintain their regular programming from the refurbished Radio Studios with TV standards, but on November 3, we will be broadcasting live from our TV Studios with content focused on Age Group 11 to 35years and spill over to the Age group 36 to 55+ and slightly from 7 to 10.
We want to de-stress the audience and create fun through various live shows totally produced by our World Entertainments TV (WE TV) Ltd Production Company. We will begin in a week time to sign in contestants on our peculiar shows which will be broadcasted from our three TV studios on Channel 195 (Wazobia TV) and channel 196 (Cool TV).
It is important to inform you that the refurbished and pre-equipped radio Studios of Cool, Wazobia and Nigeria Info FM are now provided with TV set-up in terms of lighting, Acoustics, Cameras and connectivity to the Radio Studio Control Room and the overall TV and Radio Master Control Room for out play. Such a facility interlocks Radio studios with the TV studios. And in case we have a Celebrity who comes to our Radio Stations, it can either be broadcasted live, if TV Programming allows to cut the program, or will be recorded for deferred telecast.
Our aim is at giving our audience a multiple experience from 6 different studios (a package of 6 in 1). Both Cool and Wazobia TV Channels, which promise to be Fun TV Nigeria at best and will be a source of joy to the spectators. its audience. Our popular radio stars will be more popular around Nigeria because of you (the spectators) as well as because of the new employment we created through new faces, of our upcoming Anchors, who will become shooting stars because of the training and culture we give in our broadcasting group. We will be launching our TV Apps to enable Nigerians around the Nation to access our 24hrs program at any time, and mainly the Nigerians in diaspora to give them a sense of belonging to the homeland. Our aim is to refresh the broadcast Industry.
Please launch on Oct 1st 2014 will be live from our radio TV Studios, rather than the usual broadcast of movies and musicals during TV test transmissions.
Listeners/viewers will also have the opportunity to interact as usual with the Presenters and our Radio guests in the studio. We want to improve on the Stations whereby only 6% of viewers are fully concentrated on the TV (i.e. A person who watched TV while eating, talking, etc falls within 94%)
I must assure you that we have installed the latest digital equipment required for quality transmission and we have also recruited experts from the USA, Europe and the Middle East to smooth run our broadcast and transfer knowledge to our Nigerian colleagues.
Our Independence Day is dear for us, and we want to tag our new milestone with October 1st, like we did for Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info FM.
After COOLFM and Wazobia FM pre-launch on visual Radio live, do not miss the COOLTV Channels 195 and WAZOBIA TV Channels 196 respectively on Monday November 3, 2014. Our dream is to beam from the moon, can we do it? we do not know, but wait and see what we can do! PS: For record purpose, we began the TV project in the first week of January 2012, rather than being blocked not working during that period where we decided at that time has come to create the business of planning TV stations since our background in AIM Consultants is Engineering and Architecture; We then interacted with all the manufacturers of Broadcast equipment at NAB, Las Vegas, IBC Amsterdam and Dubai and we learned from our interactions which made us create the architecture of the TV studios and installations. We select BSS, who operate from Dubai, and are currently putting the final touches to the network. In any new Project we do, we see it offshoot benefits, our studios and installations are a show room for federal, state and cooperate Client and with BSS I can confidently state we are now TV Integrators thus creating more employment.
PS 2: what are AIM‘s other Projects,
We are currently building by ourselves the H/Q of our Broadcasting Companies in Lekki 1 off Admiralty Road, with large studios of over 250 seaters, and heights up to 7.5m. The building will house the offices and the staff apartments

Oh yes, we have in Lekki 1, Adjacent to our site where we plan to erect a columnless structure at ground floor and 1st floor using prestressed slabs/beams (like in bridges) to build a studio with over 400 spectators
PS 4: What next
We will go back to our two buildings (Hotel and Suites in Abuja) which we stopped at Ground level floor (in front of the American Embassy). We must dream that in limitation we see the infinite and by so doing we will raise the funds.
