Gidiculture Festival releases star-studded lineup schedule

The organisers of the highly anticipated Gidiculture festival today released the performance schedule for its all star lineup, with the Original African music channel, Dstv’s Channel O announced as the official broadcast partner.

The schedule which was released earlier today includes rising star Ayo Jay, Boj, Poe and Blink, who will all take the stage at this year’s event. “The Gidiculture festival prides itself on celebrating home grown talent whilst providing upcoming artistes the opportunity to perform alongside established talents” said Chin Okeke, Executive Producer, Gidi Culture Festival.
“Channel O is always striving to showcase and celebrate the best of the continent’s excellence in musical offering, and being part of this festival is testimony of our dedication to that,” says Head of Channel O Africa Leslie ‘Lee’ Kasumba. “Not only will we be flying the Channel O flag as supporters of this occasion, but we will also broadcast the whole festival on our platform at a later date,” she says.
“The road to Gidiculture festival has been a long one and Channel O has been with us through this journey, therefore the decision to work with Channel O was a natural one” added Okeke.
The Gidiculture festival which promises to be an exciting day out for revellers will now include a fully installed football court for fans of the popular sport. Sports lovers will be able to participate in mini tournaments on the day, where the match winner will go head to head with a celebrity team.
With many wondering how the organisers of the event have been able to pull together an undeniably exciting lineup, combined with a day of adrenaline filled activities, this is sure to be a memorable experience.
