Castro minutes before he drowned trying to save female friend

 Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Castro, according to multiple sources from Ghana, is at the moment feared dead after he drowned in the Ada river, trying to rescue a female friend.

 

Reports say Castro and his close buddy who also doubles as a footballer for the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, had gone to Ada on a weekend rendezvous. The duo went jet-skiing and the unfortunate happened. Castro and his girlfriend were on their jet ski when she fell into the water. Castro dived into the water to save her but ended up drowning with her.

 

Neymar Flown To Sao Paulo For Treatment

A day after he was ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup, Brazilian striker Neymar was flown to his home in Guaruya, Sao Paulo by medical helicopter to begin his recovery.
Neymar was first flown to Brazil’s training ground in Rio where he had a tearful re-union with his team-mates, he then waved to hundred of fans and media before taking off along with his father.
The 22year old striker fractured a verterbra on Friday after Colombian player Juan Zuniga smashed his knee into his lower back. Speaking about the injury, a tearful Neymar said in a video

“My World Cup has not ended, it has been interrupted by a play but the tournament goes on and I told my team-mates to do everything in order to help me achieve my dream to be world champion,’ Neymar said

At Least 12 Killed In Maiduguri Bomb Blast

At least 12 people were killed on Tuesday morning in a suspected suicide bombing that rocked a market place in the heart of Maiduguri, the provincial capital of Nigeria’s northeast Borno state.

“At about 8:10 am, a moving truck carrying charcoal exploded near the Maiduguri International Market leading to the death of 12 people, including the driver and a passenger who apparently were suicide bombers,” Adamu Jingi, a local resident, told Anadolu Agency.
