As the Big Brother Hotshots show gradually winds down, Big
Brother is not relenting in providing fun filled activities for the
housemates even though some are more tasking than the Hotshots
envisaged. Biggie’s Freeze task has sure gotten to the housemates as the
rules for the task has gotten harder as the Hotshots face stricter
consequences if found violating the rules of movement. The rules guiding
the freeze task seemed to have had an emotional effect on the
housemates as lots of them have broken down in tears at one point or the
other even as those who haven’t might probably do so before leaving the
house.
Earlier in the day, JJ‘s father came on a visit to the house. He had a short and interesting discussion with his son just as he told him he was a special son that the family was quite proud of. The time spent was about five minutes in which JJ kept a smiling face all through probably in appreciation of the complements his father was passing on to him. As soon as his father’s time was up, JJ rushed into the shower fighting back tears as he washed his face and sent greetings through the cameras in the house. The duo of Ellah and Butterphly comforted JJ as he fought back tears.
However, before JJ could pull himself together, Biggie announced that the housemates should freeze. Unfortunately for Sheillah, her sister entered the house and talked to her even as she was helpless and prevented from speaking throughout her sisters visit. At some point during Sheillah’s sisters visit, it was as if the sisters were going to hug each other even as it seemed Sheillah uttered some words which hopefully would not be punished by Biggie. As soon as the guest left, the housemates were told to unfreeze and instantly Sheillah fell to the ground in tears just as Goitse and Nhlanhla moved close to console her.
The week is proving quite interesting and challenging for the Hotshots and viewers alike even as it seems more of the housemates might be shedding a tear or two before the week comes to an end.
